Meadow Creek Sausage & Meat Ltd. is a family-based business in Claresholm, Alberta. With over 60 years of combined experience and two generations (three generations as of July 2019) of sausage makers, we strive to make healthy sausages for affordable prices. Our family has always been concerned about the foods that we eat and the short cuts that are made in the industry such as using chemicals to extend shelf life and enriching the colours of meat. Our family is passionate about doing things right and we strive towards being leaders in the sausage industry every day. We do everything we can to make sausage healthier such as reduced sodium, no gluten, no added hormones, no antibiotics, shelf life extenders, colour enhancers, fillers, binders, and the list goes on.
All the meat that we use in the Meadow Creek Organic sausage line is certified organic and are fed only GMO-free organic feed. Using organic meat is healthier for us and better for the environment as feed is produced in a natural way without the use of pesticides. Even our packaging is deliberate using biodegradable thermal labels and the least amount of plastic. All the spices we use, including the maple syrup, is certified organic and we only use Rocky Mountain spring water in our production.
