The Killarney Red is a Rocambole variety of garlic. This means - fantastic 'raw' flavour, large cloves, and easy to peel. Is a great raw garlic choice. Being a Rocambole garlic, its flavor is very strong, hot and spicy and sticks around for a long time. </br></br>Rocambole is a hardneck variety of garlic that is known for it's rich full bodied flavour. You should find fairly large cloves and expect 8-10 per bulb.
Full of character and beauty, this Purple Stripe deserves an honored place at the table. Great for baking or adding raw to salad dressings and dishes. </br></br>Persian Star garlic is an absolute beauty. Strikingly colourful and even more unique in it's flavour. Originally brought over from Uzbekistan, thus the tell tale name of Persian Star.
Chesnok Red is a true heirloom variety of garlic and a true Purple Stripe. It generally has 8-12 cloves per bulb and provides a clear and bold flavour .Chesnok Red is a full flavored garlic with a mellow aftertaste that sticks around nicely for a while. Best baking garlic and a great all-around garlic. <br><br>Chesnok Red is the sweetest roasting garlic of them all. It doesn't just taste not garlicky, it actually tastes sweet. Rocky Red started out as a Red Russian variety of garlic, but after 25 years of being grown in Windermere, BC it has taken on a more Canadian flavour. </br></br>One of the most popular varieties of garlic out there, Rocky Red has a nice spice to it without being overpowering. Considered one of the great 'table' garlics, this is a real kitchen staple.
