Marketing Coordinator


The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing, executing and overseeing the marketing plan. This includes marketing and advertising campaigns, tracking sales data, maintaining promotional materials inventory and working with other teams to increase sales and brand awareness in all of our markets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecast; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.
  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Support sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests.
  • Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases.
  • Monitor budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
  • Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Design visual marketing assets for campaigns, both digital and printed.
  • Draft Press Releases and coordinate media opportunities.


  • Familiarity with and experience in running marketing campaigns across all social media platforms.
  • Ability to take direction and interpret client needs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or equivalent.
  • 2+ years’ marketing, advertising or graphic design experience.

  • Monday to Friday with the possibility of evening and weekend hours in conjunction with promotional events

Production Supervisor


Reporting to the Weekend Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising hourly employees on a shift at a food handling and order picking facility to achieve production workloads with due emphasis on quality, yields, efficiencies, and food and employee safety.


  • Plan staffing requirements for a department on a daily and weekly basis in order to achieve production volumes.
  • Plan, provide, and execute daily production schedules.
  • Ensure all scheduled production loads are prepared on time and in accordance with shipping and delivery schedules.
  • Receive, unpack, store, inventorize shipments with high degree of accuracy.
  • Prepare, sort, and execute outbound shipments.
  • Direct staff in operations to meet quality, efficiency/yield standards, and food safety/sanitation procedures.
  • Take ownership of product quality and standards as well as yield and efficiency targets.
  • Process order discrepancies accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with all other departments as needed, ensuring timely resolution of requests or issues.
  • Ensure production area is clean, sanitized, and free of hazards before, during, and after each shift.
  • Hold regular briefings with team to enhance improvements and facilitate change management.


  • Train employees on job specifics, provide orientation to new hires on basic safety and expectations.
  • Evaluate performance of employees, and provide direction and/or re-training as required.
  • Ensure machinery and equipment are safe, and employees are trained and qualified to use appropriate equipment.
  • Ensure health & safety of employees in accordance with safe work procedures, company policies, & regulations.
  • Provide leadership by communicating goals and objectives, and holding staff accountable.
  • Promote Continuous Improvement program to achieve productivity improvements and waste reduction.
  • Maximize attendance and maintain absenteeism at acceptable levels.
  • Fulfill HR responsibilities including hiring, firing, scheduling, reviewing, and progressive discipline.
  • Ensure succession plan is in place for key processes and responsibilities.


  • 2 - 5 years of supervisory experience
  • 1 - 3 years of food production or distribution experience
  • 1 - 3 years of order picking and assembly line production experience
  • 1 - 3 years of shipping & receiving experience
  • Experience in HR processes: hiring, firing, training, scheduling, development, reviewing, and progressive discipline
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Warehouse Management Systems
  • Experience with Pick-to-Light systems considered an asset

Delivery Driver


Our delivery team is made up of individuals committed to providing excellent service to our entire Food Family. Reporting to the Routing & Delivery Manager, the delivery drivers are responsible for delivering orders to households across Alberta. 


  • Delivering orders to residential and commercial members of The Organic Box
  • Safe operation of company vehicles all sizes
  • Collecting payments from members on delivery as needed
  • Addressing customer concerns and issues in person
  • Promotion of The Organic Box in the community
  • Completing pre and post shift duties such as vehicle inspection, van cleaning, general maintenance duties and data entry, 
  • Follow the company safety plan
  • Multi-tasking during shifts to ensure all tasks are completed
  • Positive communication with dispatch and customer service on order status
  • Ensure end of night duties and lock-up procedures are followed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Holds valid class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
  • Minimum 25 years of age on start date
  • Friendly attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business plans
  • Attention to detail and strong drive to do quality work
  • Confident to drive in all weather conditions and times of day
  • Available to work shifts Monday- Saturday. Evenings and weekends 
  • Familiar with technology tools such as GPS devices
  • Moderate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot vehicle issues in the field and routing experience
  • Enthusiastic team player willing to work towards shared goals
