In the spring/summer of 2014, <strong>Kendra</strong> was keeping busy picking up shifts for a few vendors at various farmers' markets throughout our city. It was here she discovered <a href="https://blog.theorganicbox.ca/the-fruit-truck/" target="_blank"><strong>The Fruit Truck</strong></a> - our mobile produce stand - and began to recognize our community involvement. She dug a little deeper and heard we were also a great company to work for; in <strong>September 2014 </strong>she applied for a position on our <strong>Production Team</strong> and <span style="color: #222222;">realized just how wonderful it was for herself. We make it easier for her to support local farmers like <a href="http://www.peasonearth.ca/" target="_blank"><strong>Peas on Earth</strong></a> and <a href="http://www.sparroworganics.com/index.html" target="_blank"><strong>Sparrow's Nest Organics</strong></a>.</span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Fun-facts about Kendra:</strong></span> <p style="padding-left: 30px;">• She l<span style="color: #222222;">oves plants and learning about the relationship they have with the Earth</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;">• In her free-time she truly enjoys r<span style="color: #222222;">eading, laying in the grass.
