<strong>Cherise</strong> is one of the newest members of our amazing driving team - joining us just last summer - she's definitely up to speed with the rest of us! She came to us with lots of driving experience - previously driving industrial-sized vehicles out in Nisku - and was super excited to join a team that not only appreciates unified communities but understands the importance each individual adds. Here at <strong>The Organic Box</strong> - we've been able to fulfil her wish to find such a place to work at - and we're happy to have her! <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Fun facts about Cherise:</strong></span> <p style="padding-left: 30px;">• In her free-time she enjoys going to the gym, coaching & playing basketball and finding places to go two-stepping - her favourite ways to stay active! On the flip of this - she also relaxes by watching Netflix, playing pool, board and card games.</p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;">• Cherise grew up in Stony Plain with her huge extended family of 17 aunts and uncles - just think of how many cousins she has!</p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;">• In 2009 - she shattered her left leg and it was 6-months before she could walk again!</p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;">• Her favourite items supplied here at The Organic Box are <strong><a href="https://membership.theorganicbox.ca/HDMI.aspx?page=Market&idCategoryTop0=262" target="_blank">Honey Bunny's DAD's BBQ Sauces</a> </strong>and <strong>Arizona's Pepper's Organic Harvest Foods Hot Sauces</strong>.</p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;">• She loves music and some of her friends call her Jukebox. Oh ya - most people wouldn't know that she likes to break out the Mr. Bean dance every once in awhile. CUTE!</p> <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Favourite story from the road:</span></strong> <p style="padding-left: 30px;">'I have many sweet & friendly customers with which I get to have short, funny or enjoyable interactions and experiences with. My most favourite would be being able to visit an ill customer while she felt well enough to be outside to do a bit of what she loves which is plant flowers. She explained her need for a product I didn't yet know we would carry which was Danny's cold-pressed apple juice. I learned a bit about her life and we connected and shared many laughs. The next week, I brought her good news that we would soon be carrying more juice for her after I had inquired further about it. She was so thrilled to hear this and she thanked me profusely. Since then, we look forward to seeing each other. We laugh while she routinely feeds her dog a piece of kale from her box so he will stop barking. This woman appreciates her service and her food. I appreciate her contagious laugh and positive attitude. Most importantly - she has grown individually as well as part of our tight-knit group of staff members. She would love to share a laugh or a quick story with you the next time you see her - it might be a little less often right now as she finishes up some school courses so if you see her - be sure to say 'hi!'.
