The holidays mean a lot to us.  We take these winter weeks to reflect and offer thanks for having the fortune to be healthy and loved.  We take the holidays as a time to spread love, gratitude and good food to our entire Food Family. Along with a great many holiday specials and treats, our Holiday Mission is a way to promote giving and make it easy for you, our members, to support those in need.  Be it with food donations or the gift of warm clothes for the winter months. The Christmas Bureau of Edmonton is in their 75th year.  This is the second year that The Organic Box has partnered with the Christmas Bureau.  We are proud to reprise our holiday hamper sponsorship program that we saw as a huge success in 2014. The Christmas Bureau has a simple mandate: to provide a festive meal and to coordinate Christmas giving to Edmontonians in need.  This resonates with our core values to increase access to healthy, local food.  In their 75 years, the Christmas Bureau has amassed over 100 community sponsors, making their mission to promote the spirit of Christmas caring and sharing one that reaches across the city.
