From the mountain ranges in Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia, this coffee is sourced from a single estate made up of 136 acres of coffee cultivated under a canopy of guamo, carbonero, and other native shade trees. The estate has certifications from the Rainforesl Alliance and the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center as well as an Organic certification through ECOCERT since 1999 due to using natural compost and coffee pulp fertilizers.
