The Bay scallop, Argopecten irradians, is farmed and harvested along the shores of the Bohai Sea in China. Bay scallops are sweet, fragrant and creamy when raw. Clear Ocean sources the highest quality Bay scallops from local processing plants. The scallops are all shucked, processed and frozen in our onshore facilities the same day they are harvested to retain optimum freshness. No chemical additives are used in processing. Clear Ocean Bay scallops are all natural, "dry" scallops.
