We are a family operated, certified organic farm. In operation since 2002. We sell a wide variety of produce, specializing in gourmet vegetables and specialty greens such as wheatgrass, sprouts and microgreens. Our produce is sold year round in Edmonton and farmers markets and retail locations (contact us for further information) and from the farm itself.
We believe in agroecology, a system of farming that works in harmony with the particular ecological system that surrounds and encompasses the gardens. We also practice season extension by use of cold frames/hot houses. A love of healthy, whole foods, and respect for the land is what guides us.
This year we will be producing beets (several varieties), potatoes, carrots (orange, yellow and purple), beans (Several bush-types), peas (snap, snow, shelling) a large variety of greens and lettuces, rhubarb, tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash (zucchini, scaloppini and more), winter squash (pie and carving pumpkins, spaghetti and acorn), herbs (parsley, dill, basil), edible flowers, as well as wheatgrass and sprouts (broccoli, radish, sugar pea, sunflower and buckwheat).
Our saskatoon bushes look to be producing very well this year and we may be opening for u-pick sales.
